Origins

Our family story began in the 16th century but took a new start in 1808 with Honoré Legras who has developed one of the most beautiful Domains in the Côte des Blancs.

This Champagne region is so named because over there Chardonnay – one of the finest of all white grape varieties – has always reigned in absolute supremacy.

6 generations later…the family adventure continues and the House R&L elaborates excellent-value Champagnes.

Over the years the R&L vineyards have expanded. Our precious wines have been
vinified at the Estate while combining tradition and modernity.

The Cuvees R&L Legras have always required rigor, precision and a gourmet passion.

We are extremely proud to see our wines on the most beautiful gastronomic and Michelin starred restaurants.
